About this Blog

I have been volunteering with ARF for about 4 or 5 years now. I started off doing small (easy) things. After my first year I decided to get more involved. I learned a lot about the organization in that time and the more I learned, the more I wanted to help. It has since snowballed into a large part of my life.

I started keeping this blog when we got our second foster dog. I thought it would be a useful way for potential adopters to gain more information on dogs they were interested in. Our time fostering was incredibly short lived because this wonderful dog (Riley) came into ARF's care and I just had to adopt him, he was exactly what I had been searching for. Since I have a dog-reactive dog and just adopted a second dog, fostering has been put on hold for the time being. I do plan on fostering again, when the dust settles, but for the time being I am going to keep this blog as way for others to keep up with what ARF is doing in the community.
